MDHAC Presents a Kick-Off Event for Deaf Culture Day in Kansas City

Ice Cream Social with Jennifer Tandoc!

Join us in meeting & greeting Jennifer who will be visiting Kansas City as a featured guest of the Deaf Cultural Festival 2022 at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Arts.  Jennifer is a Deaf Artist/ Abstract Illustrator, who was born in Manila, Philippines and grew up in Los Angeles, California.   She will provide a brief presentation on “I dream my drawing and I draw my dream”.

When: Friday evening, August 26th from 6 to 8 pm

Where: Museum of Deaf History, Arts & Culture, 455 E. Park Street, Olathe, KS 66061

Cost:  Free Admission, however RSVP is REQUIRED (Registration link above)

Select Ice Cream Bars (including dairy-free) will be sold for $3 each

(Ice cream proceeds and any additional donations will go toward MDHAC's work in elevating Deaf people's stories)
